Starward Whisky, founded in Melbourne in 2007, has quickly established itself as a leader in modern whisky making. Its commitment to innovation and quality has earned international acclaim, most notably being named Most Awarded Distillery at the 2024 San Francisco World Spirits Competition.
To help amplify this momentum, Starward partnered with Pink Zebra to deliver a fully integrated, nationwide promotional campaign spanning both on-premise and off-premise channels. We managed the campaign end to end, ensuring every element was carefully aligned with the brand’s bold and contemporary identity. Our work began with the development of a compelling campaign concept and the design of key visuals that reflected Starward’s premium aesthetic.
These assets were then rolled out across all relevant point-of-sale touchpoints, delivering a cohesive brand experience to consumers across Australia. Pink Zebra oversaw the full print production process and coordinated a national logistics strategy to ensure the timely delivery of campaign materials to both venues and retailers.
We also handled all regulatory components, including drafting Terms & Conditions, managing permit applications, and ensuring complete legal compliance. A central element of the campaign was the creation of a bespoke promotional microsite. Designed to visually align with Starward’s main website, the microsite featured a seamless user experience and allowed participants to upload receipts as proof of purchase to enter the promotion.
The campaign offered a compelling prize structure designed to emotionally connect with the target audience. The major prize included one of three exclusive trips to Melbourne for the winner and their dad, each valued at over $4,000 and including return flights and premium accommodation.
In addition, ten minor prize winners received $200 Starward vouchers to further encourage product trial and brand loyalty. Pink Zebra managed the entire prize fulfilment process, ensuring a smooth and engaging customer journey from entry through to reward. Every detail was handled with care, delivering a high-quality experience that reflected the Starward brand at every touchpoint.
